Put together a Vampirina party with these ideas and our Vampirina Kid Drink! I’m also sharing a Vampirina Craft & Vampirina cupcakes for a kid birthday idea, put together by some of my “friends from work!”

Vampirina is a new show on Disney Jr. Kids are loving Vee and her friends, as well as the funny moments and music. Plus, this show teaches important lessons for preschool age kids, as well as the adults. Put together a Vampirina party with these ideas and our Vampirina Kid-Friendly drink!

The Vampirina Kid Drink

During my recent press trip to L.A. for the Thor Ragnarok Premiere, myself, along with several other bloggers had the pleasure to screen two episodes of Disney Jr’s new show, Vampirina, as well as meeting and chatting with Chris Nee, creator and Executive Producer. You can read my exclusive interview and takeaways from the show here.

“Vampirina”  is a new show on Disney Jr, telling the story of a young girl vampire who’s the new kid on the block when her family moves from Transylvania to Pennsylvania.

“Vampirina” is such an adorable show, and I’m using that excuse to make a fun, girly drink. It’s not often; I get to dabble in pink or have girl toys in the Worthey house. Putting together this idea for a fun, pink and purple drink to go along with “Vampirina” was quite the experiment that turned out to be pretty to look at and delicious to drink.

If your kids are into this new Disney Jr. show, while they are eating some fun snacks and popcorn, whip them up a Vampirina drink!

Karen from Desert Chica made a fun craft to go help us all celebrate “Vampirina,” and something kids will enjoy making! DIY Vampirina Paper Lantern

If you’re planning a birthday party for your child this year, these ideas will help you get inspired on how to put together a Vampirina birthday party!

After going through a few rounds of juice, Zayd’n and I finally came up with a fun and cool Vampirina drink. I liked having the rock candy at the top. However, it messes up the taste of the juice. I didn’t notice it at first, but after Zayd’n finished drinking it, he picked up on the funny taste. So, I would recommend only adding a few pieces of rock candy. When I initially made the drink for the first time, I added a LOT of grape and cherry rock candy at the bottom before adding ice and juice, and at the top. This helps give the drink it’s purplish look, but the taste was off. So, when we made the drink again, we only added a few pieces of rock candy at the top, and the drink turned out fine.

The Vampirina Kid Drink

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 oz of Lemonade (you can also do pink lemonade)
  • 1-2 oz of Blue Curacao
  • 1 oz of Lavander Syrup
  • Ice
  • Grape Rock Candy Crystals {order online or find at Home Goods}
  • Cherry Rock Candy Crystals {order online or find at Home Goods}

/1 serving

The Vampirina Kid Drink

Directions:

  1. Fill a 6-8 oz glass with ice.
  2. Add 3 ounces of lemonade to the glass.
  3. Add the Lavender Syrup.
  4. Pour the (non-alcoholic) Blue Curacao in the glass. {note: if you do not want to use Blue Curacao, I listed an alternative down below}
  5. You can stir it to mix the colors.
  6. Add the grape rock candy and the cherry rock candy. Keep in mind you do not want to add a lot to change the taste.

You can order all of the ingredients you need online. It’s hard to find the Blue Curacao (this is a non-alcoholic version) in stores. You can also order the Lavender online, or find it at stores like Home Goods and World Market.

Alternative to Blue Curacao:

  • blue kool-aid
  • blue food coloring ( I am not a huge fan of food coloring in drink, but if you don’t want to use a non-alcoholic blue curacao, this will do the job!)
  • blue syrup like this one here

I added a few pink and black and white straws for a festive touch!

    Finally a drink that I can share with Madison. Being the big Disney fan she is, she would actually enjoy this.

    Could this be mixed up in a big batch ahead of time? Or is it best to make each drink individually?

      Hi Amanda, I would personally make it individually! I hope that helps and thanks for stopping by!

      Hi Valencia,

      You can purchase on Amazon- https://amzn.to/3MEC1U2

      World Market also sells Torani products for Lavender Syrup. I believe Target + Walmart too.
