Strawberry Hot Chocolate {Easy Homemade Recipe}

It’s that time of the year.. to watch the snow fall while sipping on your homemade hot chocolate!

Well, maybe we can skip the snow and just enjoy this cup of hot cocoa!

Strawberry Hot Chocolate {Easy Homemade Recipe}

 
And what better way to enjoy a cold, wintry day with a cup of Hot Chocolate. And not just any homemade hot chocolate recipe, but one with strawberries in it! Today I’m sharing with you an easy way to make homemade Strawberry Hot Chocolate!
One of my favorite memories as a child is having a hot cup of hot chocolate after playing in the snow all day. And my boys are the same way. After playing outside in mounds of snow, they come in requesting hot chocolate and popcorn!
 
Here’s how you can make this easy recipe:
 
Ingredients for Strawberry Hot Chocolate:
  • 1 cup of sliced strawberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cups of milk or half n half
  • 1/2 cup of white chocolate

Easy Hot Chocolate Recipe- Strawberry Hot Chocolate

 Directions to make this easy Strawberry Hot Chocolate:
  1. In a small bowl place sugar over strawberries and set aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Place strawberries in food processor and puree.
  3. Over a medium low heat place milk and chocolates. {Do not let boil.}
  4. Continue stirring until chocolate is melted.
  5. Add in Strawberries and continue cooking over a low heat about 2 more minutes.
Now, you’re ready to enjoy this warm and pretty hot chocolate drink!
