The fall season is here. And if you’re planning a Harvest party or a fall get-together, this Fall Table Decor Idea is just what you need to help you plan your party.
Fall Table Decor Idea
Fall is here. Can you feel it? It’s showing signs of Fall here in Michigan. The weather is turning.
Leaves are falling. Jeans. Sweats. And College Football.
These are all signs of Fall here in Michigan. It’s also time to change your decor to those burnt oranges, reds, leaves, and more.
Recently I hosted a Mom’s Night Out party on my deck. It was called Chili Under the Oaks.
I felt inspired to create a Fall table decor theme that would look great on my recently built DIY table out of pallets.
Fall Table Decor Idea
I started with two white milk-style jugs to break up all the burnt orange, red, green, and brown colors.
The plates and accessories add to the theme’s elegance, but the centerpiece is what MAKES the table.
I just looked in my ever-growing decor stockpile to pull out what I needed.
I took a large wreath purchased at a craft store and extended it to help bring the “pop” to the table’s center.
Fresh fruit as a centerpiece
For the centerpiece, I took what I already had around the house and used it to make a usual piece for a centerpiece, which included fresh fruit.
Supplies for Fall Centerpiece
What you will need:
- A Large clear vase
- 3-4 fake apples (for this piece, I used fresh apples because I didn’t want to spend any money)
- Ribbon or other accessories to go around the vase
- Clear crystals
- fake acorns
- Stems- leaves, straw, or any other fun long stems/leaves
- Fill the bottom of the glass with clear crystals.
- Stack apples and acorns on top of the crystals.
- Add stems, leaves, and regular sticks one at a time. Play around with it until it looks right.
- Fill the vase to the brim with water.
- Tie a ribbon, and that’s it.
This a very simple project that can cost you zero out of pocket by looking around your house and using what you already have!
You can amp up this centerpiece to be elegant or downgrade it for an everyday causal centerpiece!
The plates I’ve had for a few years.
I scored them at Kohl’s. ( I LOVE shopping there for great deals to add to my growing pile of decor items! Especially when I stack a coupon or two on top of their prices.)
On the day of the party, I set up the table again and grabbed a few shots of how everything looked during the daylight hours.
While my fall table decor idea was created outside, this look works inside.
Paying attention to the smallest detail can help give your table that extra look.
It doesn’t have to be perfect, and you don’t have to spend much money.
This look could work for your next Fall dinner party or give you an idea for Thanksgiving, which is right around the corner.
I picked up all of my dinnerware from Kohl’s. Stacking their terrific sales with coupons, you can achieve the same deals.
So what’s your favorite part about this Fall table decor ensemble?
