Google Chromecast Audio Review
Music. It’s something about skipping to your favorite song and letting it blare out through your speakers. Music helps me think clearer, work faster and puts me in a happy mood. When the boys leave for school each day, I can connect my phone to my speakers and let the music play away.
I recently had the chance to review Google Chromecast Audio products, and I have to share how this has changed the game when it comes to streaming and listening to my favorite music and apps.
What is Google Chromecast Audio?
It’s a device that allows you to stream your favorite music. With a few easy installation steps, like plugging the device into your speaker’s auxiliary input and connecting to your WIFI network. Then you tap the cast button from your favorite apps on your phone, tablet or computer to stream songs, radio stations, and podcasts.
Imagine being able to have your music stream effortlessly throughout your house? Many people have this option, but it came with a hefty price tag. With all the wires, speakers, and a tech to install it all, it’s easy to spend a small fortune have a multi-functional speaker system.
The Google Chromecast Audio device kills two birds with one stone. You can easily fill every room in your home with synchronous music. Simply group Chromecast Audio devices together so you can listen to the same song on multiple speakers.
You know how you have to pause your music coming from your phone to take a phone call? Not anymore. The Chromecast Audio allows you to play, pause, or change the volume, all without interrupting what’s playing or draining your battery.
It streams over WIFI vs. using a Bluetooth connection. Not only do you get a crystal clear sound powered by the cloud, but better quality.
You can stream apps like Pandora, Spotify, YouTube Music, Google Play Music and more. I love listening to NPR, and being able to now listen to it from anywhere in my house vs. just one my laptop is a win in my book.
The beauty about the Google Chromecast Audio is the simplicity of it all. You can connect it to any pair of speakers, old or new. The set-up process takes less than 5 minutes, and it is user-friendly.
