Happy New Year Marshmallow Pops

Can you believe that New Year’s is RIGHT around the corner? Wow, it seems that this year went by fast. I’m still trying to get myself together for Christmas, but now it’s time to start thinking about the New Year. I am sort of ready to go into 2014. I had a lot of growing pains in 2013, and I’m ready to take what I learned into the New Year!

Anyway, if you have plans to celebrate for the New Year with a New Year’s Eve party of just want a fun treat to make, check out these Happy New Year Marshmallow Pops! This will definitely be a crowd pleaser and make your table “pop” too!

Happy New Year Marshmallow Pops ingredientsINGREDIENTS
8 Regular Marshmallows
1/4 cup Black Candy Melting Chips
1/4 cup Brilliant White Candy Melting Chips
Silver sparkle Decorations
8 Sticks

DIRECTIONS
Heat White Candy Chips by microwaving for 30 seconds stirring and repeating until melted. Allow to cool for 2-3 minutes.
Insert stick in each marshmallow.
Dip 4 marshmallow in melted candy and roll to coat completely.
Sprinkle with Silver decorations.
Lay pop on wax paper.
Transfer remaining white chocolate to corner of small zipper bag an clip off small piece to pipe.
Heat Black Candy Chips by microwaving for 30 seconds stirring and repeating until melted. Allow to cool for 2-3 minutes.
Dip 4 marshmallow in melted candy and roll to coat completely.
Lay pop on wax paper.
Place in refrigerator for 10 minutes to set candy mix.
Remove and pipe onto each of the black pops a “2”, a “0”, a “1” and a “4”.
Enjoy!
