With St. Patrick’s Day just around the corner, it’s time to think about what cute treat you are going to prepare for your kids and their friends. Or, if you’re in charge of the classroom treats, I have just the St. Patrick’s day treat for you to bring in. These SUPER easy Shamrock Cake Heart Pops can be made within five minutes.

First, go to the store and purchase the Little Debbie Fancy Cakes. Then you’re going to take them home and decorate them. You can even have the kids decorate the cakes, which will make your job EVEN easier.

How To Make Shamrock Cake Heart Pops ­

Ingredients needed:

  • 1 10 ct package of Little Debbie Fancy Cakes
  • Green Wilton Gel Icing (located in the Wilton section at major retailers and craft stores)
  • 10 lollipop sticks

Directions ­

Open the Fancy Cakes and discard the wrappers. (ha ha!!)

Use the Wilton gel icing to draw Shamrocks on each Fancy Cake (see photo). Have fun with it.This is a perfect activity for the kiddos do to help with!

Outline the shape and then fill it in using the icing. Use a toothpick to smooth the gel evenly out and too fill in the holes.

Lastly insert a lollipop stick into the base of each Fancy Cake.

      These turned out SO cute and I’m sure my daughter would love to share them with her friends! I have to see if I can find Little Debbie Fancy Cakes at the grocery store, I haven’t seen them before!
