Mater Frozen Motor Oil Kid Drink

To celebrate the Cars 3 movie, we’ve created a fun, kid-friendly drink featuring Mater. The kids are going to love this Mater Frozen Motor Oil drink! Grab the recipe down below.

Cars 3 DVD recently came out, and it’s a great Christmas gift idea. I recently came back from a super fun trip where I was able to attend the Thor Ragnarok premiere, as well as go to Disneyland and see it all decked out in its Halloween finest!

I spent time in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park and loved all of the creativity put into their first year decked out in Halloween decorations.

Mater was dressed up as an all-purple Vampire. He was looking pretty spiffy and gave me some inspiration. When I came home, I knew I had to find a way to replicate his outfit into a fun kid’s drink. It took me a minute to play with a variety of juices to get a purple color without using food coloring and a whole bunch of junk. Thankfully, using the Cran-Grape juice, along with Blue Curacao (which is non-alcoholic), and Sprite, I was able to come up with a fun purple drink! And since Mater is all about playing in the dirt, I added crushed Oreos and whipped topping to complete this Cars kid-friendly drink!

How to make a Mater Kid-Drink:

Ingredients:

3/4 cup of Cran-Grape Juice
1/2 cup of Sprite
2 oz of Blue Curacao {non-alcoholic}
Crushed Oreos
Whipped Topping
Ice

Directions:

In a blender, crush one cup of ice.
I used mini mason jars and filled each one with crushed ice.
You can do this two ways. Combine the Cran-Grape Juice, Sprite, and Blue Curacao into a cocktail shaker and mix by stirring. Or you can add each item to the crushed ice.
Crushed up six Oreos.
Add whipped topping to the top of each mason jar.
Sprinkle with Oreos.
