Happy Friday y’all! We recently spent some time in Old Town, Lansing exploring some of our favorite places with our Kia Sorento. I’m sharing a few things we did.
A Day In Old Town, Lansing With the Kia Sorento
Y’all know Derrick, and I are huge foodies. One of our favorite places to have breakfast in Lansing is Golden Harvest. On a beautiful Saturday morning, we got up early to head down to the best breakfast spot in Lansing. It’s a unique hole-in-the-wall, with limited seating, great music, wonderful staff, and of course, feel good comfort food.
Depending on when you go, with weekends usually the busiest, you may have to wait for a table. We waited about an hour before we were able to walk, and shared a table with another couple. This is very common at Golden Harvest (and small restaurants) to sit with you strangers. But hey, thankfully I had coffee and was able to conversate so early in the morning (lol).
We usually order off the board (the specials for the day/week) versus the menu. I had french toast with blueberries.
You will always leave Golden Harvest feeling full. We headed down the street to Old Town and checked out some of the shops and boutiques.
Of course, I had to pick up a few t-shirts. I nabbed this one from Polka Dots Boutique.

We finished exploring Old Town, which is also home to the Old Town General Store and Preuss Pets (great place for kids to hang out and have a birthday party) before heading home. Old Town is also home to coffee shops, mom and pop shops, and other restaurants that will leave the foodie at heart coming back for more!
