Quick & Easy Lunch Idea: Turkey Wrap & Soup
Around this time of year {Fall}, I love to look for crockpot recipes, soups and drink a ton of coffee?
Why?
Because it’s cold and, I hate being cold! Living here in Michigan, I tend to hibernate during the winter time. Especially when Mother Nature likes to show off her skills. Having a Keurig machine is a great way to make coffee. However, I just discovered something my Keurig Machine can do. Wait for it…
It can now make soup!
Say what? Yes, soup, y’all!
@Campbell just recently came out with a line of soup specifically for the Keurig machine: Campbell’s® Fresh-Brewed Soup® Broth and Noodle Mix. This is perfect for cold days, light snack or just because!
I work from home and having a snack I can easily make is a plus for me. During the holiday season I am usually glued to a computer all day and night ( I run a deal blog), so I need quick and easy meal ideas.
Today I have several things on my to-do list for work and home (like the mounds of clothes begging to be cleaned). I don’t have time to spend on making an elaborate lunch, but I do need to make sure I eat something.
While I was making this sandwich, I just popped in a Campbell’s® K-Cup & added the Noodle Mix to my bowl and placed it under the Keurig machine. As soon as I finished making my sandwich, my soup was ready to go. Boom! I killed two birds in one time, what a time-saver. Although, I would have loved to stall more over my lunch, instead of heading to the laundry room.
So here’s what you do:
Take the Campbell’s® Fresh-Brewed Soup® Broth and Noodle Mix out of the box: {there are six sets in each box}
Place Noodle & Vegetable Mix in a bowl:
Place Fresh-Brewed Soup® Broth in your Keurig:
Once the Broth K-Cup is in, close the lid and hit the Keurig button!
And that’s it! Fresh soup ready to go in under one minute!
And for the taste? It has a slightly different taste than the regular Campbell’s® soup in the can. To me, the texture was the biggest difference between the Fresh-Brewed Soup® and the canned soup.
Overall, I loved trying the Campbell’s® Fresh-Brewed Soup® Broth and Noodle Mix for these three reasons:
- Convenience: My soup was ready to go in just under 1 minute
- Quick & Easy: It’s a great snack and EASY to make
- Taste: Campbell’s® Fresh-Brewed Soup® Broth and Noodle Mix produces a great taste that will warm your belly and wanting to try another one! It’s also a light snack that doesn’t pack on the calories!
Have you tried one of Campbell’s® Fresh-Brewed Soup® Broth and Noodle Mix yet? If so, leave me a comment and let me know.
If not, try one and come back and let me know what you think!
In the meantime, here’s my quick sandwich recipe:
Directions:
1. Combine cream cheese and nacho cheese together using a fork or whisk.
2. Spread 1 1/2 tbsps onto a flour tortilla.
3. Add black beans and cherries.
4. Add crushed nacho cheese chips. 5. Add shredded turkey and lettuce.
6. Roll into a tube and cut with a serrated knife.
7. Serve.
