Weekend Getaway to Sacramento & IFBC

This weekend is gearing up to be a load of fun! After spending a few days in sunny San Diego checking out the newest Kia vehicles and learning about how Kia is taking over, I’m on my way to Sacramento!

As we speak, the hubs (D) is also flying to Sacramento. We’re both excited to spend a few days together in Northern California. While we plan to have some fun, we’re also here for business.

We’re no strangers to blogging conferences, but this will be the first time we both attend a food blogger conference.

As you may know, D does 90% of the cooking in our home, and the recipes and cocktails here on the blog.

He is talented, creative, and a down-right sexy Chef {yeah, bias!}.

When doing my research on a food blogger conference to attend this year, this one came recommended by a few bloggers.

The International Food Blog Conference is taking place in Sacramento this year. Sacramento is considered the Farm-To-Fork Capital of America. We are big fans of supporting local and farm-to-table restaurants.

Here are a few things I’m looking forward to taking away from this conference:

  1. I’m looking forward to connecting and networking with other bloggers.
  2. We’re both looking forward to connecting with some of the brands on our #mustworkwith list.
  3. One of my FAVORITE friends, blogger, and an author is going to be there, Alea from Premeditated Leftovers will also be at this conference, and I cannot wait to see her and spend time with her the weekend.
  4. I’m looking forward to learning ways to take our business to the next level, including food photography, new social media tips and more!

Those are just a few things I’m looking forward to taking away from this conference!

Plus, once this conference is over, we plan to head to San Francisco for a few days and explore. We’re both big foodies, and we’re going to loosen up the notches on our belts and just go with it!

Be sure to follow us on Instagram, Twitter and SnapChat for behind-the-scenes action and more!

Cheers!
