Traveling to Dallas? Here's one of the best hotels in the Dallas area: Read hotel review on the Hilton Anatole

When you live in one place for several years the living tends to get a little stale. You find yourself trying to find new things to do that you haven’t already done a million and one times, you have scoured the internet for anything that seems even remotely interesting.  It’s inevitable, no matter where you live, which is why I like to stay informed about any new attractions in the area, so I can branch off from the usual haunts and sample something authentically new and interesting for myself. But a lady can only take so much! And perhaps that is why a mini-vacay can be a much- needed escape plan to rescue you from the monotony hometown living.

Where To Stay in Dallas: Hilton Anatole

Hilton Anatole-6

In an effort to branch out and see some new sights, my friend and fellow travel blogger Deb from Just Short of Crazy decided to head to Dallas for a 48HR Getaway.  While in the big city we stayed at a fabulous hotel Anatole by Hilton.

I’ve stayed at my fair share Hilton hotels. I expect quality service, 5-star accommodations, with access to a variety of amenities. Everything about this hotel gave the impression that we were really staying in the lap of luxury and we loved every second of our stay.

Hilton Anatole-2

Located near downtown, Hotel Anatole is situated in Market Center area and Design District, and it’s just five minutes from either uptown or downtown. It’s the perfect in between spot if you’re looking to do some sight seeing or just out for a shopping trip with girlfriends. And talk about sightseeing, Hotel Anatole boasts the largest art collection of any hotel in the U.S. Hotel Anatole has curated over 1,000 exotic pieces from around the world, so anyone who appreciates the arts will be sure to enjoy this astonishing collection during their stay. Check the art work below, this bright, colorful and engaging work of art caught my eye, it’s a gorgeous piece depicting the Great Wall in Berlin. {You can view more of their art pieces here}

This includes executive check in, exclusive lounge area featuring flat screen television, a view of downtown Dallas, concierge on duty, full bar, complimentary continental breakfast and complimentary hors d’oeuvres.
  • Grand Presidential Suites. These amenities include wired and wireless internet connection, Coffee Maker and complimentary coffee, large work desk with ergonomic chair, sitting area with armchair and ottoman, LCD TV’s, On-demand movies and entertainment, mini refrigerator, speaker phone with voicemail, personal in-room safe, video check out with email receipt, remote printing, all non-smoking rooms, accessible rooms.

Other highlights of the Hilton Anatole:

  • 80,000 sq. ft full-service health & fitness club and therapeutic spa
  • Centrally located in the heart of Dallas {easy access to restaurants, shopping malls, attractions, etc}
  • 8 Restaurants and bars {including a new Restaurant, SĒR Steak + Spirits  known for the best steaks in Dallas!}
  • Over 60,000 sq. ft of meeting and event space
  • Over 1200 Rooms and more!

Hilton Anatole is about to up the ante on their hotel to become a resort with one BIG change.

The hotel is also expanding and adding a water-park! And if you thought the stakes couldn’t get any higher, they just did. And with the gorgeous nearly all year-round weather this water wet upgrade gives you and your family one more reason to want to visit.  So, if you’re looking for a staycation idea or a place to stay when traveling to Dallas, I thing it’s going to be hard to beat the Hilton Anatole.

Here are some of the anticipated features:

  • 4,000 sq Leisure Pool

This could be the perfect one-stop shop. Fly into Dallas and stay in the hotel the whole weekend. Yes, there are a ton of great things to do in and around the Dallas area, but your stay at the Hilton may keep you indoors the whole time.

Hilton Anatole-1

Overall our girls weekend getaway was a wonderful experience. Staying at Hotel Anatole was a real treat for us. From enjoying their Nutella French Toast for breakfast, to being able to relax and let the stress slip away in the hotels on-site spa, we definitely took advantage of all the wonderful amenities the hotel provided. And when you factor in the 70+ degree weather, a perfect 48-hour stay.

    You can’t go wrong with Hilton. We stayed in a Hilton hotel when we were in Virginia and loved it. The beds were so soft and comfy!
