Savory Asparagus + Balsamic Parmesan

Ingredients

  • 2 bunches of asparagus
  • 1/2 stick sweet cream butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 1/2 inches of grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt
  • 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Reggiano

Instructions

  • Get charcoal briquettes going on the grill. When the coals are hot, add your choice of wood chips. Close the lid and allow the grill to heat up.
  • Wash, trim, and pat the asparagus dry.
  • Place the asparagus in an oven-safe skillet and add the melted butter, minced garlic, and ginger.
  • Using your grill mitt place the skillet with the asparagus onto the hot grate and close the lid.
  • Allow the asparagus to cook for six minutes or until bright green and tender.
  • Drizzle the asparagus with Balsamic glaze and top with Parmesan Reggiano.
