Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Using a bread knife slice French baguette into ten (10) 1/4 inch rounds. Place the rounds on a baking sheet.
Into a small saucepan add the butter and melt it over med-low heat. Remove the pan from the heat and add extra virgin olive oil.
Brush the top and bottom and tops of the baguette rounds with the butter and extra virgin olive oil mixture.
Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and freshly cracked black peppercorns to taste.
Place the sheet pan on the middle rack of a 350 degree preheated oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Rotate at the midway point, and turn over crostini to brown the bottom.
Remove the crostini from the oven and allow the crostini to cool then top each toasted round with herb honey cream cheese, and fresh fruit fall fruit.
Drizzle with your favorite honey, we used Thyme honey.
Add a fresh mint leaf.
Serve.
