Line an 8” baking sheet with parchment paper.
Add the sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips to a large, microwave-safe bowl. Microwave them on high for 45 seconds. Stir. If the chocolate has not fully melted, microwave for an additional 30 seconds.
Add the vanilla and stir to combine. Transfer the fudge to the parchment-lined baking sheet and spread it out using a spoon or offset spatula.
While the fudge is still wet, add any sprinkles or desired toppings.
Place the fudge in the fridge to set-- this should take about an hour.
Once the fudge is set, slice it into squares and serve.
Store any leftover fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
