Rocky Road Candy Bar

Ingredients

  • 12- ounce bag Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 can 14 ounces Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 1/2 cups Dry Roasted Peanuts
  • 16- ounce bag Mini Marshmallows
  • Valentine’s Sprinkles / Candy Decorations of Choice

Instructions

  • Line 13x9 pan with parchment or wax paper.
  • Melt chocolate chips, butter, and condensed milk in a medium to a large pan over medium/low heat, constantly stirring to keep it from scorching.
  • Once melted, remove the chocolate mixture from heat and allow it to cool slightly.
  • Stir peanuts and marshmallows into chocolate mixture.
  • Spread rocky road mixture into prepared pan and add Valentine's sprinkles and/or candy decorations as desired.
  • Chill until set, approximately 2 - 3 hours.
  • Cut into squares and serve.
    

Notes

Cooking Notes for this Valentine Dessert idea
1. Chopped pecans or walnuts can be substituted for peanuts for preference or those with allergies.
2. Valentine’s sprinkles/decorations are optional.
3. Salted nuts taste better than unsalted nuts in this recipe.
