Carefully dredge each turkey patties through the flour and shake off any excess flour.

Dip turkey patties into the potato batter (recipe up above) and carefully place them into the hot oil.
Shake the baskets to make sure the patties don’t stick to the bottom of the basket—Cook one or two at a time.
Cook until the batter is golden brown.
Use a slotted spoon to remove the patties and place them on a plate or platter lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Arrange the deep-fried turkey burgers on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper and finish them in the oven for 15 minutes.
The internal temp of the turkey burgers should read 165 °F using an instant-read thermometer.
Serve on a toasted brioche bun with your favorite toppings.
Notes
To serve, pile on the usual suspects like fresh lettuce, red onions, tomato, smoked gouda, or Swiss cheese onto a toasted brioche bun. I Slathered on mayo and mustard because, for me, they’re a must on a burger!
