Ingredients

  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • ½ cup of milk
  • 1 head of cauliflower cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 cup of barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 2 teaspoons of sriracha optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a large 12x16-inch baking pan with parchment paper
  • Add the flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to a large bowl and whisk to combine, then pour in the milk and stir once again until smooth.
  • Add the cauliflower to the bowl and gently toss to combine, then drain it from the batter, place it evenly spaced on the baking pan, and bake for 10 minutes.
  • In the meantime, add the butter to a small saucepan over medium heat and melt, then add the barbeque sauce, honey, and sriracha (if using) to the pan and stir and cook for about 10 minutes, constantly stirring to prevent burning.
  • Dip 5 to 8 cauliflower pieces in the barbeque sauce, add them back to the pan, and repeat the process with the remaining cauliflower pieces.
  • Bake once again for 10 minutes, then let it cool for 5 to 6 minutes before serving with ranch and freshly minced parsley for garnish if desired.
