Stuffed French Toast Nutella Waffles

Servings: 4
Author: This Worthey Life

Ingredients

  • Waffle Batter
  • 2 1/4 cups of Krusteaz Light & Fluffy Buttermilk Complete Pancake Mix
  • 1 room temperature egg
  • 2 tbsp of canola oil I also have used avocado, grape seed, olive, or safflower oil
  • 1 1/2 cup of cold water

Instructions

  • Add the ingredients into a bowl and mix until combined, but do not over mix. Over mixing will result in tough pancakes or waffles.
Preheat your waffle griddle. When the griddle is hot, add a tbsp unsalted butter to each section.
Spoon a half-cup or a full cup of waffle batter into each section, brush the top of the waffle gribble with melted butter or a non-stick cooking spray.
Close the lid and cook the waffles until they are cooked but not golden brown. The waffles will finish cooking after dunking them into the French toast batter and returning them to the waffle maker.
Remove the waffles from the griddle and continue with the following steps listed below.
