Shark Week | Blood In The Water Shark Drink

It’s Shark Week! Not familiar with Shark Week? “Shark Week is an annual, week-long programming block on the Discovery Channel which normally takes place in July or August. The show originally aired on July 17, 1988, and it’s the longest running cable television event in history and has enjoyed a surge in popularity over the past few years.” {source}

I’ve always been fascinated by sharks and killer whales. Something about how powerful and gorgeous these creatures always interested me, and I could spend hours watching documentaries and movies about sharks. I can’t tell you how many times I have watched the Jaws series.

Over the years, the popularity around Shark Week has grown to become a huge annual event, including people hosting viewing parties, drinking games, themed food and drinks and more. If you’re planning on hosting a party or the kids want to partake in shark week, here’s a fun shark kid-friendly drink to try.

      Great recipe! Pretty sure the Blue Curacao is alcoholic, probably want to substitute it with food coloring if you want this to actually be kid friendly:)

        You can get a non alcoholic version. It’s made by Torani. It’s just a flavored drink syrup instead of a liquer.
