Date Night Movie Gift Basket Idea {& Printable}
What do you get for someone who has everything?
This is where you have to dig deep and get creative.
Well, not really.
But if you’re stumped, keep reading because I have a very simple solution for you to do.
A few months ago, I shared on my Facebook status I was going to give each family member a homemade gift this year. My sister and her husband love going to the movies, so I created a Date Night Movie Gift Basket for them.
Here’s how I did it:
First, I hit up my local store to find most of my supplies:
- Popcorn
- Caramel Popcorn
- Linen Basket
- Theater Boxes of Candy
- Candy Corn {or other favorite treats}
- Homemade Peppermint Mocha In A Jar {get recipe here}
- Hershey Candy Bars Wrapped in Candy Holders
- Tissue Paper
- Festive Straws
- Popcorn Boxes
- Pack of Note Paper
- Two Small Jars for Drinking
- Red Box Date Night Printable {get below}
- Red Box Codes
Assembling this gift basket is pretty straightforward. Since you’re mostly buying everything from the store, just pack it in how you see fit.
I started with layering the tissue paper inside the basket and around the sides.
Then I started adding in all of my supplies. I put the popcorn boxes in first. Then I added the candy, Homemade Hot Chocolate in a Jar, packaged popcorn, caramel popcorn, straws and drinking glasses.
I added the Red Box Date Night coupons on top.
Before I placed the Date Night coupons inside the basket, I added the promotional codes given to me by Redbox.com . Purchasing e-gift cards and promo code bundles are the perfect gift idea for people who have everything, movie lovers, your babysitter/nanny, teachers, significant other, kids, etc. It’s a gift idea you can easily personalize.

Hopefully, this easy gift idea helps you check a person or two off your Christmas list.
