How to make a peppermint margarita

Frozen Peppermint Coconut Margarita

Ingredients:

  • 6 ounces Blanco tequila 
  • 6 ounces peppermint flavored vodka
  • 1 1/2 cups cream of coconut
  • 4 ounces freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 4 ounces orange liqueur or triple sec
  • ice (2 trays of regular ice cubes)
  • thin slices of lime for garnish
  • finishing sugar or crushed candy cane for rimming the margarita glass

Directions:

  1. Using a wedge of lime rim the serving glasses with lime juice.
  2. Dredge the rims of the glass through finishing sugar or crushed candy canes (or both)
  3. Combine all of the ingredients into a blender and pulse until you get a slush consistency.
  4. Pour the mixture into serving glasses.
  5. Garnish with whole cranberries through a cocktail stick and slices of lime. 
  6. Serve.

  • 1 1/2 cups cream of coconut
