Your search for the perfect holiday cocktail recipe is over! Our Pumpkin Spiced Gin Cocktail is brimming with one of the most popular flavors of the season, pumpkin spice. This is a well-balanced cocktail you just may want to keep around until after Christmas.

Pumpkin Spiced Gin Cocktail

For me, the last months of the year mean lots of good and drink. From Halloween to New Year’s Eve, it’s like one big extended party. One of my favorite flavors of the season is pumpkin spice. I love the taste of pumpkin-infused with nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, and ginger.

The best fall cocktails

My Pumpkin Spiced Gin Cocktail is going to be the perfect drink to serve at bonfires, after Thanksgiving dinner, or to greet guests at your Hanukah or Christmas holiday party.

The best spiced cocktails

For the gin, I highly recommend using Sipsmith or my new favorite Half Hitch gin. Combine the gin with an equal portion of Pumpkin Reàl Pumpkin Puree Infused Syrup and a splash of orange Curaçao liqueur. Put all of the ingredients into a cocktail tin with plenty of ice and shake vigorously for thirty seconds. Strain into a standard rocks glass over ice, and you’re in business. The key to making a great cocktail is obtaining the right balance of sweet, bitter, and not covering up the base spirit; in this case, the base spirit is gin. This cocktail gets its sweetness from the pumpkin puree infused syrup and the orange Curaçao liqueur. However, the sweetness is tempered by the lemon bitters and the natural flavor of the dry gin. All in all, this is a great cocktail, and if you’re already a fan of gin, then this cocktail creation will put a smile on your face.
