Supplies needed:

  • 1 package of Wilton 12 oz dark chocolate candy melts
  • 1 5.3 oz package of fresh pomegranate seeds – I located these at my local Meijer store in the produce section near the prepared fruit trays.
  • Wilton silicone heart mold (see links)

easy Recipe for Dark Chocolate Pomegranate Hearts

Directions

Pour the Wilton candy melts into a microwave safe dish and heat for 30 seconds. Repeat until melted.

Stir until smooth and allow to cool a few minutes before pouring into the mold.

Add a few pomegranate seeds to the bottom of each mold (see photo).

Process for Recipe for Dark Chocolate Pomegranate Hearts

Scoop the melted chocolate on top and gently use the spoon to spread it into the heart shape (if needed). I found with the larger heart mold I needed to use the spoon to evenly disperse the melted chocolate.

Repeat until all the molds are filled. Place the mold into the fridge for about 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden.

Remove from the fridge and simply pop the chocolates out and store covered in the fridge until ready to serve

*Makes approximately (2) 6 ct Heart Molds (the larger red mold) and (1) 24 ct mini heart mold.
