Here's how you can put together a St. Patrick's Day Skittles Rainbow in a bag treat!

St. Patrick’s Day Skittles Rainbow In A Bag

I’m all about finding easy and affordable ideas when it comes to holiday treats. As a Mom that likes to get involved in my son’s holiday parties, I try to find ideas that I can do within minutes.  I also like to find ideas that require just a few ingredients. Let’s put together a fun St. Patrick’s Day treat that’s all about Skittles! #tastetherainbow

Best Way To Place Candies In A Bag

I recommend tall treat bags, then you can have the different levels of colors. The Rolo candies on the bottom and then do layers of Skittles to offer the different colors of the rainbow, then last marshmallows to mimic a cloud.

Variation To Skittles Candy Rainbow Bags

  • Use Golden Coins to replace the gold Rolos in the container.
  • Reach for Rainbow Twizzlers instead of skittles if you would like.
  • Use cotton candy in replace of the mini marshmallows for a fluffy cloud.
  • Use a big marshmallow in replace of mini marshmallows.

Can I Make These In Advance

Go right ahead and make up these treat bags for St. Patrick’s day a day or two in advance. The biggest thing is making sure you seal the candy area. Or the marshmallows will dry out pretty fast.

I used a stapler to secure the printable with the bag of candy. Feel free to improvise and use what you have on hand.

Best Paper To Use For Printable

I find using cardstock over classic printer paper helps to ensure your printable stays firm. Otherwise, it will be a bit flimsy and can fall apart pretty easily or bend and crinkle.

You can also cut with a simple pair of scissors or use a paper cutter for quick and easy slices on the paper to speed up the process. Print out as many of these printables to use for making treats.

Here’s how you can put together a St. Patrick’s Day Skittles Rainbow in a bag treat!

How Many Can I Make Of These Rainbow Bags

Go ahead and print out as many printable rainbow sayings as you would like. Then buy the right amount of bags, candies, and such to be able to fill them with what you would like.

This St. Patrick’s Day treat bag can be very affordable and inexpensive if you buy bigger bags of candy.
