Why Happy Cards Are Teens Choice In A Gift Card

Gift cards are a great gift idea and are perfect for teens. I’m sharing why Happy Cards® are teens’ choice in a gift card and the benefits of using a Happy Teen gift card. This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Happy Cards®.

Teens Choice Gift Card

Why Happy Cards Are Teens Choice In A Gift Card

As a parent of teen boys, it can be challenging to find the perfect gift. Our boys each have different styles in clothes, music, and shoes. They also regularly ask for money, and this doesn’t change even after they get their first job. I recently discovered a solution to this problem, Happy Cards®. These gift cards are great because you can give the gift of choice by selecting a gift card for a specific occasion or person. Happy Cards® have gift cards specifically for teens, and I was thrilled to see a variety of options that are perfect for our teen boys.

Teens Happy Gift Card

Why Happy Teen Gift Card®?

Here’s the reason why Happy Teen gift cards work. First, they can be used at stores/brands teens shop at, such as American Eagle, Nike, Sephora, and Under Armour. You can also use them at Regal Cinemas, Dave & Buster’s, Jamba Juice, or Barnes & Noble locations in the US.

Benefits of using a Teens Happy Gift Card

Second, our teens can stay on budget by having a certain amount loaded on the gift card. With a new school year just around the corner, it’s time for back-to-school shopping. I can give each teen a Happy Cards® gift card and drop them off at the mall. They shop at American Eagle, Nike, and Under Armour, so they can go into each store and shop for themselves. This also teaches them to be responsible and stay on budget. If they are each given a certain amount, they will need to keep track of what they are spending.

Benefits of using a Teens Happy Gift Card

Then after a day of shopping, if they have money left over, they can treat themselves to a movie at Regal Cinemas or have a game day at Dave & Buster’s. Another benefit of giving your teen a Happy Teen gift card is they don’t have to worry about losing money. I can’t tell you how many times I have asked my boys what they did with the $20 I gave them, and they couldn’t account for it. With a gift card, they can keep track of their balance and don’t have to worry about spending a dollar here or a dollar there.

Benefits of using a Happy Cards®

Another benefit to using a gift card with your teens is the mock practice for a credit card. Teens will turn into adults and open a credit card account with a limit. By using a gift card with a limit, they will have the practice and control of their spending. Instead of swiping their gift card every chance they get, they have to understand they have a limit on that card, the same as a credit card, and to budget accordingly.

Where can you find Happy Gift Cards

You can find Happy Cards® at Gift Card Mall displays at retailers nationwide and online at GiftCards.com/Happy. There is no activation fee to purchase or to use Happy Cards®. Giving someone a gift card from Happy Cards® is a great gift idea. You don’t have to worry about finding the perfect gift or even selecting a specific store gift card. With Happy Cards®, they offer a variety of places for teens, for the foodie, new bride, Happy Her, Happy Him, and the list goes on.

Teens Happy Gift Card

Back-to-school shopping just got a whole lot easier by letting our teens have a Happy Teen gift card. Head over to Happy Cards® website to learn more about the Happy Teen gift card, as well as all the other gift card ideas they have.

Girl we are struggling this year because my kids don’t understand limits! I’ve have tried hard but they seem to think money falls off trees! This would be a good way for them to have to learn to budget what they have for back to school shopping… and it could be a good way for me to give them a monthly set amount and once it’s gone it’s gone! Thanks for a chance to win one to try this method out !!

This card would work great with my teen daughter. Teach her responsibility as howto set limits and not over spend. She recently just came back from Washington D.C.. She had a gift card and her debit card with a nice amount of money in them. However, she still called me and told me that she needed note money. I explained to her before she left that she has enough money to buy and or play with the money on her cards. I sent her more money but explained that she should not had to call me about money and bugeting what she has. I think this would be a great opportunity for her to try again and value this experience along with reading the information you provided. Thank you

My daughter (16) is pretty good at stretching money out but she’s never had a card to use before so I think it’ll be a great learning experience for her. I’m sure she will want to spend it at thrift stores since that’s her new thing. Lol thanks for the opportunity!

My daughter would use it for school shopping. I give her a limit of what we will spend..but all her friends are getting a bunch of name brand and she wants the same. I try telling her tonsave her money and not just buy things for 1.00 or 5.00 here and there..

My 16 yo son would probably use it to buy new wrestling shoes. He’s the complete opposite to my 12 yo daughter, who has no idea the value of money. He gets it and tries to use his own money when he can. I definitely will be looking into this for my daughter maybe then she’ll get the concept that money is not unlimited.

How my teen would use the Happy Teen GIFTCARD she is 17 now and will be 18 next year and it is time she know how to use a card because it will be something of her own and would teach her responsibility and how to balance her own money. She will also get to see where her money goes preferred to using cash. She is at that age she wants a job and she just want her own and to be able to do for herself and buy what she wants.

My daughter is struggling with understanding how money works. It’s very abstract to her. She believes cash is unlimited. We are working explaining wages, taxes and how much it takes to run a household.

Something like thisay help her visualize the system better in terms of seeing a starting balance and watching how the money disappears as you spend it. It’s a tangible representation

Back to school shopping is always hard after spending every last dime to keep my daughters entertained and fed during the summer, especially on a limited budget! But, who isn’t on a budget? My teenage daughter is starting high school this year and wanting *cool* new clothes and shoes for school. She is also starting to want tear a little makeup, which we know as up. She has worked some odd jobs to earn some money this summer o pay for some things. I’m on disability and would love to surprise her with a gift card to let her go shopping and have some fun with her sister or a friend!

I think he would start a Jamba Juice and then go shopping at one of his favorite stores American eagle. I would leave it up to him to decide. I also have a feeling he would take his crush out on a date to regal cinemas. I guess we will have to see!

This card would be great because it has a limit and he would have to keep track of how much he is willing to spend on back to school shopping. Having his own gift card, will help him be more grown up and not feel like he can’t doing anything because of him being on the spectrum. This will also teach him the value of money and also to learn to budget. This will make him feel so proud to do these sort of things on his own.

As a single Mom of a pre-teen, money is always tight! Between #teacherlife and just life in general, sometimes I forget to just let loose and have a good time with my daughter. As she’s getting older, it’s harder to figure out just what to get her. So it would be fun to have a day where she can do shopping at Sephora and also have some game time at Dave & Buster’s. If there is any money left, she could also get a few more back to school items from Nike or Under Armour or enjoy a movie with friends. This is a great idea, and will probably be on my gift list for her at Christmas. Thanks for the chance to enter!
