Non-Alcoholic Punch – Fizzy Citrus Soda Punch Recipe

When you plan your next party, you just have to make this punch!

It’s because this is one seriously delicious and easy punch recipe to make.

So, if you like fruity, fizzy, and beautiful, well, you’re in luck!

Just look at it; doesn’t it look like something your guests want to eat, drink and be merry one cupful at a time?

The base of this gorgeous and delicious punch is made with bubbly Italian sodas: Blood Orange, Pomegranate Hibiscus, and Orange Mango Citrus, which I picked up at World Market.

Soda Punch Recipe

This is just the most photogenic punch!

The Best Fruit Punches

How to make a non-alcoholic soda punch drink for a party

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle each of Blood Orange, Pomegranate Hibiscus, and Orange Mango Citrus
  • 1 64 ounces Lemon-Lime soda
  • 1 large navel orange sliced
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 1 pomegranate sliced
  • 1 bunch of fresh mint
  • 1 bunch of fresh basil

Soda Punch Recipe

Directions:

  1. Slowly pour the sodas into a large punch bowl, and add the sliced oranges, lemons, and pomegranate.
  2. Add fresh sprigs of mint and basil.
  3. Place the punch bowl into the fridge to chill.
  4. Serve.

Alternative recipe for a Tipsy Citrus Punch Idea:

Ingredients:
  • Raspberry Ginger Ale Spiked Soda, 1 Can
  • Traverse City Whiskey Co.Bourbon, 2 Shots
  • Lemon Juice (Fresh Squeezed) 2 Tablespoons
  • Orange Juice (Fresh Squeezed) 2 Tablespoons
  • Pineapple Juice (Fresh Squeezed) 2 Tablespoons
  • Ice Cubes

Directions:

  1. I placed the whiskey and Daily’s Raspberry Ginger Ale into the deep freezer to help chill things down. [do not allow the Daily’s Raspberry Ginger Ale to freeze]
  2. Open a can of Daily’s and pour it into a medium size pitcher. Add 2 shots of Traverse City Whiskey Co. Bourbon.  Squeeze 2 tablespoons of juice from an orange, lemon, and pineapple.
  3. Stir to allow the flavors to introduce themselves to one another. Add a slice of orange, lemon, and a few chunks of pineapple and cubes of ice. Cheers!

What can I use instead of lemon lime soda?

Ginger ale, bubbly water with some fizz, both work great for this recipe. The bubbles are going to add a nice component to the punch. I love the lemon lime, but you will find that ginger ale is a great alternative.

Can I make this punch in advance?

Since there is lemon lime soda you want to mix it up right before serving. The bubbles from the carbonation will go flat really quickly so it will ruin the overall flavor. So whip this up right before serving.

What do you eat on a pomegranate?

On a pomegranate you will eat the seeds. The white fleshy part is very bitter. So you will eat the seeds, you can drink the juice, but discard the white portion of the pomegranate.

What type of alcohol works for this punch to make it alcoholic?

You are more than welcome to add alcohol if you are going to be serving adults. Vodka, a white rum, or even flavored vodka would work great here. Feel free to pick whatever you like and then spike to your desired level. If you do it by the glass just add a shot of alcohol to each glass you dish up.
