One sure sign that summer is indeed upon us is the cornucopia of fruity drinks sprouting up (and being poured with mucho gusto all over the place). And since my better half likes her liquor all dolled up in sweetness and a bounty of fruit I concocted the Tipsy Citrus Punch. And if you mess up don’t worry, the mistakes have the same affect as the correct dispensation of ingredients.

Tipsy Citrus Punch | Drink Recipe
Directions:

I placed the whiskey and Daily’s Raspberry Ginger Ale into the deep freezer to help chill things down a bit. When I was ready to begin mixing the drink I took them out, do not allow the Daily’s Raspberry Ginger Ale to freeze. I only let it stay in the deep freezer for about 20 minutes or so.

Open can of Daily’s and pour into a medium size pitcher. Add 2 shots of Traverse City Whiskey Co. Bourbon.  Squeeze 2 tablespoons of juice from an orange, lemon and pineapple. Stir to allow the flavors to introduce themselves to one another. Add a slice of orange, lemon and a few chunks of pineapple and cubes of ice. Now it is happy happy, joy joy time. Cheers!
