Recipe for Dark Chocolate Pomegranate Hearts ­

Ingredients

  • 1 package of Wilton 12 oz dark chocolate candy melts
  • 1 5.3 oz package of fresh pomegranate seeds – I located these at my local Meijer store in the
  • produce section near the prepared fruit trays.
  • Wilton silicone heart mold see links

Instructions

  • Pour the Wilton candy melts into a microwave safe dish and heat for 30 seconds. Repeat until
  • until melted. Stir until smooth and allow to cool a few minutes before pouring into the mold.
  • Add a few pomegranate seeds to the bottom of each mold (see photo).
  • Scoop the melted chocolate on top and gently use the spoon to spread it into the heart shape (if
  • needed). I found with the larger heart mold I needed to use the spoon to evenly disperse the melted
  • Repeat until all the molds are filled. Place the mold into the fridge for about 30 minutes to
  • allow the chocolate to harden. Remove from the fridge and simply pop the chocolates out and store
  • covered in the fridge until ready to serve.
  • *Makes approximately (2) 6 ct Heart Molds (the larger red mold) and (1) 24 ct mini heart mold.
