1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, combine granulated sugar, light brown sugar, and softened butter and whip until light and fluffy.
3. Add eggs and vanilla to the butter and sugar mixture until smooth.
4. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, cardamom, and salt in a medium bowl until incorporated.
5. Slowly add the flour mixture with the stand mixer on low. Next, add the oats, cranberries, and chocolate.
6. Mix until just incorporated.
7. Use a medium-sized scoop and place even dollops of cookie dough on a cookie sheet—leave at least 2 inches between cookies.
8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the cookies are golden brown.
9. Remove the cookies from the oven and cool until safe enough to handle.
10. Serve.
