Ingredients

  • 1 package of King's Hawaiian Rolls 12 count
  • 12 slices of smoked Gouda picked up from Trader Joe's *You may want to have an extra package to make sure you have enough to cover the rolls
  • 2-3 cups of leftover shredded or sliced turkey
  • 1 cup of leftover cranberry sauce
  • 5 tablespoons of unstated butter melted
  • 3 teaspoons of Herbs de Provence
  • Pinch of Kosher Salt
  • Freshly cracked black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking dish with parchment or lightly grease it.
  • Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally, keeping the entire sheet intact to maintain the structure, then place the bottom half into the baking dish.
  • Layer the turkey evenly across the rolls.
  • Spread the cranberry sauce over the turkey. Keep the layer even so the flavor doesn't clump in one corner.
Add the smoked Gouda slices on top, covering the entire turkey and cranberry mixture.
  • Place the top half of the rolls back on.
  • Make the herb butter. Combine the melted butter with teaspoons Herbes de Provence, a pinch of salt, and black pepper. Brush generously over the tops of the rolls.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese melts and everything warms through.
  • Uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes to toast the tops.
  • Let rest for 5 minutes, then slice and serve warm.
