Have fun this Thanksgiving with a cute Peeps Treat.
Peeps Minis Turkeys
Everyone loves Peeps, and this easy, kid-friendly Thanksgiving treat just takes a few moments to put together.
You can even use this as a fun edible Thanksgiving craft!
My niece actually does something similar to this for the little kids in the family (she uses cupcakes instead of cookies)! And it’s always a hit.

Ingredients:
24 Chocolate Peeps Minis
24 Famous Chocolate Wafers (or 12 Oreos separated with creme removed)
168 Candy Corns
48 Candy Eyes
1/2 cup Red Candy Melting Chips
1/8 cup Orange Candy Melting Chips
Directions:
- Place Red Candy Chips in the corner of the zippered sandwich bag and microwave for 45 seconds. Knead to make sure it is smooth and melted. If not melted, heat for an additional 15 seconds.
- Clip the corner of the bag for piping.
- Lay wafers out on wax paper.
- Pipe lines of melted chocolate in a semicircle around the top of the wafer to act as glue.
- Place candy corn in a fan shape on a wafer as shown.
- Gently separate the tail of the peep from the hind leg and fold it under.
- Pipe a glob of melted candy on the bottom to glue the tail under.
- Pipe two dots on the face and glue eyes in place.
- Refrigerate peeps and wafers for 10 minutes to set up.
- Pipe a waddle under the beak of each Peep.
- Pipe a glob of melted candy on a wafer to glue the Peep in place
- Refrigerate for 5 minutes to set up.
- Place Orange Candy Chips in the corner of the zippered sandwich bag and microwave for 45 seconds. Knead to make sure it is smooth and melted.
- Clip the corner of the bag for piping.
- Pipe an orange beak on each.
- Immediately place in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to set the candy mix.
Enjoy and Happy Thanksgiving!
