 Strawberry + Lemon Mint Kettle Iced Tea

What do you get when you mix up an ice-cold batch of Jack Daniels Rye, summer sun tea, strawberry and lemon simple syrup, fresh sliced strawberries, and lemons, with fresh sprigs of mint? Well, what you get a kettleful of is our deliciously refreshing Strawberry + Lemon Mint Kettle Iced Tea! If like getting all of the summertime fun and turning it into a cold sunshine in a glass!

Mint Lemon + Strawberry Kettle Iced Tea

This is a really easy adult punch to make, it’s just like making sun tea but instead of stopping at just sun tea you’re going to add a few extra items, and before you know, it is time to gather the mason jars and serve a long pour of this delicious and spiked punch.

When the summertime sun is beaming rock steady sun shines down on everyone, there is nothing on earth like having something ice-cold and delicious to gulp (I mean sip). Or maybe gulp is the new sip! And I must say, the rye lends an undercurrent of flavor that takes this summer punch to the top of the list. And don’t forget, this summer tea punch creation is great for gatherings great and small.

Strawberry + Lemon Mint Kettle Iced Tea

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 gallon Sun Tea
  • 1 cup Jack Daniel’s Rye Whiskey
  • 1 cup Strawberry + Lemon Simple Syrup
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 1 Lemon, sliced on a mandolin
  • 6-8 Fresh Strawberries, sliced in half
  • 1 Bunch fresh mint
  • Ice

Directions:

Make Sun Tea ahead of time.

In a large punch bowl or large pitcher combine sun tea, Jack Daniel’s Rye Whiskey, strawberry + lemon simple syrup, lemon juice, lemon and strawberry slices, and fresh sprigs of mint. Mix well and ladle into mason jars filled with fresh ice, lemon and strawberry slices. Garnish with sprigs of mint, then serve.

Drink responsibly, and never drink and drive
