Searching for the perfect Holiday cocktail? Well, look no further than our rich, creamy, and all-out festive eggnog mixed drink.  This White Chocolate Bourbon Eggnog has lots of Christmassy flavors like nutmeg, cinnamon, and clove! And the silky creaminess of the eggnog is spiked with the caramel notes of good bourbon whiskey.

White Chocolate Bourbon Eggnog

Problem: What cocktail to serve during the holidays?

Solution: Our White Chocolate Bourbon Eggnog is a great way to spruce up traditional eggnog with the warm caramel notes of good bourbon.

The Créme De Cocoa adds a hint of toasted chocolate and the rich, delicate sweetness of Godiva White Chocolate liqueur. And with a short swirl of  Torani White Chocolate, you’ve got a winning combination that will have everyone asking for another chilled glass of this perfect holiday cocktail.

It wouldn’t be a bad idea to triple or quadruple this delightful cocktail recipe, but don’t worry, because saying, “Cheers!” with good friends never gets old.

The Best Eggnog Cocktail

It’s all about the eggnog cocktail

There is something special about an eggnog cocktail; maybe it’s a seasonal thing where the expectation of tasting a particular flavor is like an itch under your skin that won’t go away until you’re satisfied.

Well, if you’ve got that eggnog craving, I totally understand, and it’s one more reason to make this “tis’ is the season for making merry” drink.

So, in the spirit of making the yuletide gay, we have this seasonally delicious White Chocolate Bourbon Eggnog.

The Best Holiday Bourbon Cocktail

I crafted this cocktail with the holidays in mind, hence the eggnog. But this isn’t your grandma’s eggnog.

Nope, not even close. This one has its share of quality bourbon and lots of chocolate notes.

The dusting of apple pie spice and a whole star anise pod tie things up nice and pretty like a bow.

I love the boozy creaminess of this cocktail, but I am warning you, it goes down easily, so be very careful.

When guests arrive, offer this classy cocktail, and they’ll feel extra special.

The familiar taste will conjure up fond memories of past holidays, and soon everyone will be making new memories and relishing in your gracious hospitality!

The Best Apple Pie Spiced Cocktail

What You Will Need To Make Our Spiced Bourbon Eggnog:

Bourbon Whiskey. For this recipe, I used Henry McKenna 10-year-old bourbon, but use whatever bourbon you prefer. Either way, it’s going to be a jolly good time.

Crème De Cocoa. A bit of crème de cocoa adds rich, chocolatey notes to this delicious holiday cocktail. To vary the flavor, use Kahlúa coffee-flavored liqueur, hazelnut syrup, almond liqueur, or a bit of exotic Amarula liqueur.

Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur. Adding a dram or two of Godiva white chocolate liqueur adds creamy goodness that makes you want to enjoy this lovely, festive cocktail over and over again. Sidebar: I also love the Godiva Dark Chocolate liqueur in this luscious cocktail.

Southern Comfort Vanilla Spice Eggnog. Is it really a wintertime celebration without an eggnog cocktail? That’s what we thought too! And adding the irresistible goodness of Southern Comfort Vanilla Spice Eggnog is some wonderful.

Iced or Warm. Use ice cubes to chill this cocktail, but if you want to change things up a bit, serving it warm is a great way to make this already perfect cocktail even more enjoyable on a snowy night.

Apple Pie Spice & Star Anise. To finish off this cocktail, add a light dusting of ground apple pie spice and a single star anise pod for a classic look. Cheers!

Easy Cocktails For The Holidays

Drink responsibly, and never drink and drive.

What’s The Best Bourbon To Mix With Eggnog?

A well-aged bourbon with warmth and depth works beautifully.

A splash of 10-year-old Henry McKenna bourbon gives this beautiful cocktail heady caramel undertones.

Now, imagine you beside a roaring fire as you raise a glass to this wonderful season.

Can I Make This Spiced Bourbon Eggnog Ahead Of Time?

You can batch the alcohol and eggnog mixture a few hours in advance, but don’t add ice until you shake and serve.

This keeps the cocktail smooth instead of watered down.

Do I Have To Use Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur?

No, but it adds a creamy, decadent layer. Any white chocolate liqueur will work.

If you skip it entirely, the cocktail will be less dessert-like.

What’s The Best Glass To Serve This In?

A coupe glass gives it that classic holiday-party look, but a rocks glass works if that’s what you have on hand.

The Best Holiday Drinks

How Do I Get The Spice To Sit Nicely On Top?

Dust the apple pie spice right after straining while the surface is still foamy.

It clings and looks intentional instead of messy.

Can I Make It Stronger Or Sweeter?

Yes, you can add an extra ½ ounce of bourbon for more punch, or a splash of white chocolate sauce for more sweetness.

What If I Don’t Have Star Anise?

No problem. A cinnamon stick, a fresh grating of nutmeg, or nothing at all still works.

The star anise is there for holiday-party drama.
