game day punch

Game Day Punch

This football punch will have you wobbling.

If you have plans to host a Super Bowl party on Sunday and need a punch to serve a crowd, this is the one you need to make.

This winning recipe blends the bold flavors of light rum, red, white, and berry vodka, Grand Marnier, pineapple and blueberry juice, lime juice, and a splash of grenadine.

Garnish with citrus slices and a cherry for a game-day touchdown in every sip.

Pour the mocktail or cocktail into individual pouches, seal, and refrigerate for a refreshing sip during the big game.

Perfect for mingling and cheering without worrying about spills or not remembering where you put your drink.

What You Will Need:

Light Rum. Using light rum in this punch, like Bacardi Superior offers a clean and light flavor. It’s also a well-known rum and easy to find at any grocery or liquor store. The light rum adds a mild sweetness, but still providing a depth to this recipe.

Vodka. We’re using Smirnoff’s Red, White and Berry vodka which offers a clean and neutral base. The red, white and berry vodka adds a touch of fruitiness and a vibrant color.

Grand Marnier. If you want to add a hint of orange flavor to this game day punch, then reach for the Grand Marnier. It adds depth with its citrusy and cognac-infused notes.

Pineapple Juice. Blueberry Juice. Pineapple Juice offers a tropical sweetness, helping to balance the overall flavor profile. It also provides a refreshing and bright element to this punch recipe. The Blueberry Juice adds a layer of sweetness and vibrant color.

Grenadine. Grenadine is used in this recipe to help bring a vibrant red hue to this drink, as well as a slightly tart and sweet pomegranate flavor, which enhances the overall fruity profile.

Light Rum- a bottle of Bacardi

Can I use a different type of rum or vodka in this recipe?

Yes, you can use what rum or vodka you have on hand.

Keep in mind that it may alter the overall flavor of the punch.

Especially if you were to use a dark rum, etc.

Can I make this game day punch ahead of time?

Yes! However, you will want to hold off on adding any ice until you are ready to serve the punch.

You can also add the garnishes right before serving.

What if I don’t have grenadine?

If you don’t have red grenadine, you can use pomegranate juice.

You can buy red grenadine online, or also find at World Market, HomeGoods, Target and grocery stores.
