What is a Pizookie?

Like many others, you’re probably reading this wondering what a pizookie is.

A pizookie dessert is easier to understand than you might think.

In case you didn’t know, a pizookie is known as the best dessert in the world (as known in the Latin world).

While I agree this is the best dessert ever, you’ll have to make it yourself.

Of course, every single pizookie recipe has its own twist.

Ingredients for Slow Cooker Pizookie Recipe

I think the most satisfying thing about this recipe is the ingredients. Placing the ingredients together and then watching it melt is so yummy. Let’s review these ingredients and talk about how amazing this makes the whole dessert.

Oreos. You can not make a satisfying dessert without Oreos. I love buying Oreos and making this dessert because it truly is divine.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Another ingredient that is in this dessert is chocolate chip cookie dough. While the Oreos are an important part of this recipe, the chocolate chip cookies are indeed the hero!

Butter. Yes, you’ll need butter for this recipe, and you won’t regret using this ingredient in your recipe.

Now the important part of learning how to make this Slow Cooker Pizookie Recipe are the steps!

  1. In a food processor, blend 1 and 1/2 rows of Oreo cookies.
  2. Then add 3 tablespoons of melted butter. Blend again.
  3. The cookie crumble should hold together when you pick it up and squish it in your hand.
  4. Spread and press the oreo mixture to the bottom of a sprayed crockpot.
  5. Place pieces of the cookie dough over the oreo mixture to cover it.
  6. Cook on low for 2.5 hours and let it sit a little bit. It’ll look gooey in the middle, but as it rests, it will harden slightly.
  7. Serve with ice cream and chocolate fudge.

I love how easy this is to just toss in the slow cooker and go! It’s so much better than scooping out individual cookies and rotating trays in and out of a hot oven in summer! The cookie has a soft, gooey center and is so perfectly delicious!
