We’re kicking off the holiday celebration with a delicious, sweet drink: a Rosé Sangria.
We have put together an easy holiday cocktail to try this year with a Rosé wine that is as refreshing as it is festive and beautiful.
I love it because it isn’t too sweet and will wow any crowd.

Good, right?
How Far In Advance Can I Make This?
You can prepare everything except the sparkling cider up to 24 hours in advance.
Doing so can help the flavors meld beautifully. Add the sparkling cider right before serving to keep the bubbles lively.
Do I Need to Add a Sweetener?
It depends on your rosé and cordial.
If your sangria tastes a little tart, add 1–2 tablespoons of simple syrup or honey syrup and adjust to taste.
Can I Add Citrus to This Recipe?
Yes! A few thin orange slices or a splash of orange juice deepen the flavor and help balance the acidity.
While optional, adding citrus can make your sangria more vibrant and is worth trying if you want a richer flavor profile.
How Long To Chill This Christmas Sangria?
Chilling the sangria for 1-2 hours allows the fruit to infuse and enhances the flavor.
Skipping this step may result in a less developed taste, so plan accordingly.
Ideally, chill for at least 1–2 hours so the fruit can infuse.
If you’re tight on time, you can skip it, but the flavor won’t be quite as developed.
What Kind of Rosé Works Best?
Choose a moderately sweet or semi-dry rosé. Very dry rosés can make the drink sharper, which may require additional sweetener.
Can I Make This Nonalcoholic?
Swap the rosé for a nonalcoholic rosé or sparkling pink grape juice, and replace the cordial with raspberry or cranberry juice.
What Garnishes Pair Well With This Sangria?
Fresh cranberries, apple slices, rosemary sprigs, mint, or dehydrated citrus slices all elevate the presentation and give it a festive feel.
