What You Will Need To Make Our Cranberry Sprite Punch:

Cranberry Juice and Sprite Soda. Add equal parts cranberry juice and Sprite soda, but that’s just the beginning because you can mix things up by adding your favorite cranberry juice infusions too! For instance, I used Cran-Cherry. But feel free to add other varieties like:

  • Cran-Raspberry
  • Cran-Pineapple
  • Cran-Mango
  • Diet Cranberry Juice Drink with Lime

Using original Sprite is fine, but the end-of-year holiday celebrations call for something special like 2-liter bottles of Sprite Winter Spiced Cranberry or Sprite Ginger. (You may have seen those holiday commercials with Lebron James advertising this new sprite cranberry flavor.) And if you are counting calories, substitute with Sprite Winter Spiced Cranberry Zero Sugar or Sprite Ginger Zero Sugar.

Whole Cranberries. Adding whole cranberries is an easy way to take a holiday punch from average to amazing! Plus, they add a nice pop of color.

Citrus Fruits. Adding slices of oranges, limes, and clementine screams festive elegance! Plus, it’s a way to add a bit of citrus flavor, and the fruit makes a delicious garnish too!

Cinnamon Sticks. Nothing like adding a bit of spice to your festive punch bowl. Don’t have cinnamon sticks? Star Anise pods or whole close work too.

Ingredients:

  • 64-ounce Cran-Cherry Juice
  • 1 2-Liter Sprite

  • 1 Large Lime cut into thin slices using a mandolin
  • 1 Clementine cut into thin slices using a mandolin

Add the cranberry juice and Sprite into a large punch bowl, then add the whole cranberries, slices of orange, lime, and clementine. Next, add the cinnamon sticks.

Serve chilled or over ice.

Can I Make This An Alcoholic Punch

To make this punch into a quick cocktail, add fresh ice into a standard rocks glass, add 1-2 ounces of vodka, then ladle the punch over and give it a quick stir. Cheers! You can also reach for white rum, tequila, or other light-flavored alcohol. Or, if you want, add extra booze for a fully loaded punch.

Storing Leftovers

If you are lucky, you will have some punch leftover! Store any you don’t use in the fridge in a sealed pitcher. Then pour in a glass the next day and enjoy. You will find this punch is best to be enjoyed within the first two days of being made. The Sprite will lose the fizz quickly, and it is best to drink a few hours after making it.

Can I Make This In Advance

You can make this cranberry punch in advance if you want. Just mix it up and have it stored in the fridge until ready to serve. I only recommend making it 1 – 2 hours in advance. The lemon-lime soda will lose the fizz, leaving it kind of bland. Then if you want, add ice. Don’t add ice as it sits, as it can water down the punch, and you will lose your flavor.

Can I Use Blood Oranges In Replace of Navel Orange

If you want, go right ahead and use a blood orange. The general peak of blood oranges is December to May or even June. You will find it adds a nice rich color and flavor to the punch.

Alternative to Sprite In Recipe

You can use bubbly water that adds some carbonation to the punch recipe. So if you are not wanting Sprite, any lemon-lime soda works, or even ginger ale. Just know that swapping out the drink will alter the overall flavor of the party punch.

Can I Use Frozen Cranberries

If you’re not able to use fresh cranberries, go right ahead and reach for frozen. Just mix up the drink just as you would. The berries will be softer in texture, but they will not negatively affect the flavor of your punch.

Now that you have the recipe, you need to gather your ingredients and serve this recipe for your Thanksgiving dinner or use it for Christmas, New Year’s, or another holiday event.

If I am reading your recipe right one recipe will fill a punch bowl right? How much of each individual recipe would I need for 200 people?
