Get your Christmas table on and poppin’ with our Noel Red & White Christmas tablescape idea. With just a few simple steps, you can create a beautiful red and white theme for your holiday dinner!

Christmas is my favorite holiday and the most wonderful time of the year. We love to entertain during the holidays. It gives us time to spend with our family and friends, eat good food, and of course, put together a beautiful tablescape. Every two years I change up my decor and go with a brand new theme. I’m in my second year of our current Christmas decorations, a red, green, natural and vintage look. You can take a peek at last year’s  Red + White Merry Tablescape.

This year, I’m still keeping the same colors, just giving it a fresh look. Here’s how I put together my Noel Red & White Tablescape.
I initially shared this tablescape in a sponsored post with a focus on things for kids to do at the holiday dinner table. I loved how it turned out, so I had to share all of the details on it! Plus, tablescapes are my jam, and I love to share them here on the blog!

First, wrapping paper. Wrapping paper is not just for wrapping presents. There are so many wonderful uses for wrapping paper, including a table setting. You can find beautiful wrapping paper anywhere Christmas is sold. Hobby Lobby and Home Goods carries thick wrapping paper, which is great for setups like this.

Setting the table

  1. Set the table with a red oval placemat, linen charger, white dinner plate, topped with a Noel salad palate (World Market).
  2. Add silverware, followed by a glass goblet. I picked up these glass goblets for a good deal at Sam’s Club years ago. I added a smaller goblet to give this table a little more flair. (Hearth & Hand Magnolia) Pro-Tip: During the holidays, Sam’s Club carries a ton of items that are perfect for entertaining and fantastic prices.
  3. To the left of each place setting, I added a festive Merry Christmas cloth napkin (Walmart) and inserted them into pinecone napkin holders. (Pier 1)
  4. At each place setting, I added a holiday Christmas card of our family. Learn how to create your holiday cards here.

For the centerpiece, I used a Christmas garland I purchased from Hobby Lobby several years ago. It was kinda worn out, and not as full as it used to be.

So, I laid it out on the table; then I added additional pieces of greenery throughout the entire garland to give it a fuller look. I added a variety of greenery, all in different styles and shades of green (some frosted green assortments) to create this look, as well as strands of red berries for an extra pop.

I added a few additional accessories, like red pillows for a little more pop.

You can find basic white dinner plates and linen chargers at your local home store like Home Goods, World Market, Target and Walmart. Also be sure to check out the craft stores for the greenery items.
