Our Pomegranate Mocktail is just the Halloween mocktail you need to sip on during this spooky season.

Enjoy this Halloween potion made with pomegranate juice, honeycrisp apple cider, and a few other odds and ends.

Plus, we’re sharing how to turn this potion drink into a cocktail below.

Pomegranate Mocktail – Halloween Potion Drink

It’s Halloween, and your bloody thirsty for all the spooky and fun shenanigans!

Chances you are, you will be in dire need of what we’re serving up after all the trick or treating. Our Bloody Thirsty Potion Mocktail is just what Dr. Frankenstien ordered.

It’s made with dark red pomegranate juice. A splash of honeycrisp apple cider, and mixed with freshly squeezed lime juice. That’s it. Simple, but spookily yummy!

It all comes together for a kid-friendly Halloween elixir, perfect for ghosts and goblins! But werewolves, witches, and warlocks will love it too!

What You Will Need

Pomegranate Juice. There is nothing like pomegranate juice with its deep red color and sweetly tart flavor; it is an excellent start to any Halloween refreshment. Plus, pomegranate looks like the stuff running through our veins, so there is that!

Honeycrisp Apple Cider. Truth be told, this is my favorite kind of apple cider ever! I enjoy the honeycrisp cider in this drink because it balances out the tartness of the pomegranate flavor and adds a bit of autumn apple-flavored sweetness.

Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice. Citrus juice is a great way to brighten up any party drink, and adding lime juice here is no exception. Don’t have lime juice; lemon juice works well too! Add a 1/2 ounce of apple cider vinegar to mix it up. Trust me!

Tequila Lime Seasoning. Just a pinch will do; the tequila lime seasoning adds depth and a bit of spiciness to this fun and easy Halloween sipper.

Dry Ice. After this mixed drink is double-strained into a chilled couple glass, add a small amount of dry ice. The dry ice will produce bubbles and lend a bit of wafting smoke to your drink that screams potions and witch’s spells.

Blackberries & More Tequila Lime Seasoning. Garnish this drink with two plump, juicy, sweet blackberries threaded onto a cocktail stick and dusted with tequila lime seasoning. Now serve, but make sure you have more because this one goes down quickly, and it is so hauntingly good!

Our Halloween mocktail pairs well with our Spooky Charcuterie Board.

Can I make this ahead?

Yes, if you are making a large amount, multiply it accordingly. Key points, mix it without ice and add the dry ice as you make individual servings.

I do not like pomegranate juice; are there other juices I can use?

You can use:

  • tart cherry juice
  • cranberry juice
  • cran-raspberry juice
  • organic beet juice

I want to make this an alcoholic drink; what should I use?

Add one and half ounces (1 1/2) of:

  • pomegranate vodka
  • bourbon
  • spiced rum
  • a half ounce of mezcal and an ounce of reposado tequila
