Summer cocktail- Peach & Guava Lemonade Punch

Peach & Guava Lemonade Punch

I love summer! And really, what’s not to love about endless sunshine, rolling blue skies and something cold and delicious to sip on in your hand? So, let’s play bartender, take out the cocktail shaker and jigger, because we’re going to get our mixology on and poppin’. Now, in my opinion, perfect warm-weather cocktails have lots of ice, exotic fresh fruit flavors, and just enough “adult piquancy” to make everyting is irie mon! With our bracing and utterly sumptuous Peach & Guava Lemonade Punch, we think we hit the mark. The recipe below makes two cocktails, because sharing is caring, and too, who wants to drink this beautiful mรฉlange cocktail alone? Not I! Cheers!

 Peach & Guava Lemonade Punch

What you need for Peach and Guava Lemonade Punch

Pink Lemonade Mix – Any brand works. I used powdered, but you can now buy a liquid lemonade mix you can squirt into your drink.

Guava Nectar – Make sure you are buying nectar. It is going to be ultra flavorful that really adds an incredible punch of flavor to the cocktail.

Kinky Pink Liqueur – Kinky pink is an infused vodka that is filled with passion fruit, blood orange and mango flavor. It really is a show stopper liqueur.

Svedka Peach Vodka – If you have not tried the peach vodka, you are missing out. The peach adds a nice light and sweet component.

Paloma Wedge – Paloma is a citrus fruit that is very similar to a grapefruit. If you can’t find a paloma you can easily swap with grapefruit.

Why do you shake cocktail instead of stir?

Shaking a cocktail is going to give your whole drink a chilled texture. You will find it provides an even temperature and gives an ice cold drink to serve up! There is nothing worse than taking a sip and finding a warm spot in a cocktail. It is a little off setting.

Can I Make This Drink in Advance?

Since you are serving the lemonade punch over ice it is best to make right before serving. You can mix up all the other ingredients in advance and store in the fridge for 1-2 hours before you plan to serve. Then give a good stir and pour over ice.

You don’t want the ice in the cocktail in advance or it will water down the drink as the ice melts.

Can I Turn This Into A Slush?

Add all the ingredients into a blender and blend to puree the ice. Then garnish with the Paloma as you would and enjoy. Having it in a slush form is so refreshing, I think you guys will love it.
