Rotisserie Chicken Street Tacos

We love tacos in the Worthey house. Not only are they delicious, but they are easy to make and so versatile. They are so many ways to make tacos, but one of our favorite type of tacos are street tacos. We’ve also made tacos with Alaskan Pollock, as well as Instant Pot Taco Recipe | BBQ Pulled Chicken Street Tacos. Tacos are great for easy entertainment, tailgating parties, and getting ready for the big game.

But here is a quick hack on making tacos, using Rotisserie Chicken. Paired with a refreshing Coca-Cola, tacos are an easy dish to serve on game day. Tacos are always the MVP in our house, especially when everyone can pile on a variety of tacos, and wash it all down with a Coca-Cola.

Simple Taco Recipe: Rotisserie Chicken Street Tacos

Ingredients needed for Chicken Street Tacos

  • 1 1/2 cup shredded Rotisserie chicken (you can pick this up from your grocery store)
  • 1/2 cup yellow bell peppers, cut into thin strips
  • 1/2 cup red bell peppers, cut into thin strips
  • 1/4 sliced red or yellow onions
  • 2 stalks green onion, sliced
  • 2 jalapeño, sliced thin
  • 1/2 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 grated cojtia cheese
  • corn or soft flour tortillas

Directions:

  1. Remove a 1 1/2 cup of Rotisserie chicken and shred, set aside.
  2. Cut the yellow and red bell peppers, set aside.
  3. Slice the onions and set aside.
  4. Slice the jalapeños and set aside.
  5. Warm the tortillas for about a minute per side in a large skillet over medium-low heat. 
  6. Place the tortilla on a plate and top with shredded chicken, yellow and red peppers, onions, jalapeños, and cheese.
  7. Serve.

Ingredients
 

  • 1 1/2 cup shredded Rotisserie chicken you can pick this up from your grocery store
