New posters dropped today for Marvel’s upcoming Avengers 3 movie. After looking over all five Avengers Infinity War posters, I have so many questions about who’s not there, why these particular teams are paired up and more. Read on down below!

New Avengers Infinity War Posters + Now I Have So Many Questions!

A month from now Avengers: Infinity War drops in theaters! {April 27th} We are ALL super excited about the latest Avenger movie, ESPECIALLY since it involves new faces, like Black Panther, Okoye, Shuri, M’Baku, and all the whole Guardians of the Galaxy crew.

Like, is anyone a little nervous and anxious about how Marvel will pull this OFF? Then today, new Infinity War posters dropped, and my curiosity of what’s going to happen just went through the roof. I have soooo many questions now based on how the characters are grouped together.

Let’s take a look, shall we?

Team Thor Avengers Infinity War

Team Thor. On Team Thor is, obviously Thor (Chris Hemsworth). And a majority of the Guardians of the Galaxy crew, which makes sense since it’s safe to say that the Galaxy crew met up with Thor shortly after Thor Ragnarok. We have Starlord/Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax (Dave Bautista), Rocket (voice actor Bradley Cooper) and Teen Groot. This is my first and FAVORITE Avengers: Infinity War poster. I absolutely LOVE the whole cast of Guardians of the Galaxy; their characters play well off of each other. And then, Thor. Well, he’s always been my number one.

Team Black Panther Avengers Infinity War

Team Black Panther or is it Team Black Widow? Next, we have another one of my favorites, T’Challa/Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and his team! This is a very interesting combination, but it makes sense. Okoye (Danai Gurira) is the General of the Dora Milaje, Black Panther’s bodyguards. The Black Widow/Natasha (Scarlett Johansson), and the Hulk/Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) have a special relationship, and she’s able to center him back after he’s gone green with anger. I have so many questions about this smash combo. Is Black Widow really the leader of this team? If so, how did that go down? I don’t see T’Challa being okay with that! lol, How would she match up with Okoye?

Team Cap Avengers Infinity War

Next up, Team Cap! Seeing Captain America (Chris Evans) paired with Bucky (Sebastian Stan) makes perfect sense. I can kinda see how Shuri  (Letitia Wright) is connected to this since the very last scene of Black Panther show Shuri and Bucky talking. But, I honestly was surprised to see her in this mash-up. I would have thought for sure she would have been next to her brother. Then we have two odd characters in this poster (and they were super odd in the movie): Nebula (Karen Gillan), one of Thanos’ daughters, and Mantis (Pom Klementieff).

Since there are rumors about this being Chris Evans’ last Marvel movie, does he die? And if so, does everyone on Team Cap (except Shuri and Bucky) die too? I am not counting on them to die because there IS going to be a Black Panther 2. Well, maybe Bucky dies, but the Disney Princess will live to see another day! {Mavel, she better!}

Team Scarlet Witch Avengers Infinity War

Team Scarlet Witch? Well, It’s safe to say that Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) is the leader of this team since she gets to lead this poster. It also makes sense to have Vision (Paul Bettany) on this one since he is totally into Wanda. And then, I guess they had to stick the other not-as-important guys somewhere else, so welcome to the team, Falcon/Sam (Anthony Mackie) and War Machine/James (Don Cheadle). Although, I am a little puzzled WHY War Machine is on this team versus being with Iron Man? I thought they were best buds? Leave it to Iron Man to always be selfish and think of himself.

Team Iron Man Avengers Infinity War

Team Iron Man. And last but not least, is Team Iron Man and my less-favorite people of them all! LOL Okay, I don’t have it out for the guy, but Iron Man/Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) started rubbing me the wrong way after the second Iron Man. Then, I’m not into Dr. Strange  (Benedict Cumberbatch) either. Or Wong (Benedict Wong). And the new Spiderman/Peter Parker (Tom Holland) annoys me! Where’s Toby McGuire when you really NEED him?

This is another interesting mash-up, but with these Marvel characters being based out of New York City, I guess I can see the throughline.

So, there you have it. But, I still have so many questions.

 Like, WHERE is Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) in all of this? There are rumor and speculation floating around the interwebs of why we haven’t seen Hawkeye in any of the trailers nor posters. Ready for this? He’s Ronin.

“As reported on CBR.com, though Jeremy Renner’s Avenger hasn’t yet appeared in the publicity material, certain sites who’ve had set visits attest that he is in the movie.

And now Joe Russo has confirmed that he’ll have a key role.

“Characters on Cap’s team made certain decisions,” he said, “and others made other decisions that led to different paths in them dealing with oversight in this movie in a different way. So Hawkeye’s on his own journey in this movie.”

 Anthony Russo agreed saying, “he has a unique reaction to the Civil War situation that puts him in a special spot in this film.” {source}
Hmm, what an interesting theory. Time will tell whether or not this turns out to be true! Wouldn’t that be an interesting twist on this?! I really hope not. I’ve always loved Hawkeye!

Is Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) coming to Thor’s aid in Avengers: Infinity War?

And WHERE is my beloved M’Baku (Winston Duke)? Is he is going to be tested by Thanos and possibly go to the dark side? {Marvel, don’t break my heart like that}

What about Loki (Tom Hiddleston)? I started to grow fond of him after Thor Ragnarok. What role, if any will he play in this? OR, is he going back to the dark side and teaming up with Thanos?

Also missing is Ant-Man/Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and the Wasp. But, I don’t think we’re going to lose any sleep over this combo showing up in Infinity War (since it has been confirmed that the Wasp will not be in Avengers 3). We can catch them a few months after this movie comes out. {comes out July 6th}

Will we see Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) make an appearance? I LOVE this guy, but his role has diminished over the years as the Avengers move on without him.

Who’s going to be on the poster with Thanos?

Oh, so many questions, with only a few answers and a lot of speculation! I guess we will find out on April 27th! You can pre-order your tickets now to make sure you see it opening weekend!

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. (March 26, 2018) – Marvel Studios has begun principal photography in Los Angeles, California, on its newest film, “Captain Marvel.” The production is shooting in and around the greater Los Angeles area, which will also serve as the production base for the film. The production will also shoot on location in Fresno, California, as well as locations in Louisiana, including Baton Rouge and New Orleans.

Set for release in the United States on March 8, 2019, Marvel Studios’ “Captain Marvel” is directed by the writing/directing team of Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, whose credits include “Mississippi Grind” and “Half Nelson.” An all-star collective of accomplished writers penned the screenplay, including Meg LeFauve (“Inside Out,” “The Good Dinosaur”),  Nicole Perlman (upcoming “First Man,” Marvel Studios’ “Guardians of the Galaxy”), Geneva Robertson-Dworet (“Tomb Raider,” upcoming “Sherlock Holmes 3”), Liz Flahive & Carly Mensch (“Glow”), and Anna Boden & Ryan Fleck.

The film stars Academy Award® winner Brie Larson (“Room,” “Kong: Skull Island”), Samuel L. Jackson (Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “The Hateful Eight”), Ben Mendelsohn (“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” “Ready Player One”), Djimon Hounsou (“Blood Diamond,” Marvel Studios’ “Guardians of the Galaxy”), Lee Pace (“The Book of Henry,” Marvel Studios’ “Guardians of the Galaxy”), Lashana Lynch (“Brotherhood,” “Fast Girls”), Gemma Chan (“Humans,” “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”), Algenis Perez Soto (“Sambá,” “Sugar”), Rune Temte (“Eddie The Eagle,” “The Last Kingdom”), McKenna Grace (“I, Tonya,” “Gifted”), with Clark Gregg (“Live by Night,” “Marvel’s The Avengers”), and Jude Law (“Spy,” “The Grand Budapest Hotel”).

The story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races.  Set in the 1990s, “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Kevin Feige is the producer of Marvel Studios’ “Captain Marvel.” Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Jonathan Schwartz, Patty Whitcher and Stan Lee are executive producers, with Lars Winther serving as co-producer/first assistant director and David Grant serving as co-producer.

Directors Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck’s creative team includes director of photography Ben Davis (“Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri,” Marvel Studios’ “Doctor Strange,”), Oscar®- nominated production designer Andy Nicholson (“Gravity,” “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”), costume designer Sanja Hays (“The Fate of the Furious,” “Star Trek: Beyond”), editors Elliot Graham (“Steve Jobs,” “Molly’s Game,”) and Debbie Berman (Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther,” “Spider-Man: Homecoming”), two-time Oscar nominee, visual effects supervisor Christopher Townsend (Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2”), stunt coordinator Jim Churchman (Marvel Studios’ “Doctor Strange” and “Ant-Man” ) and six-time Oscar nominee, special effects supervisor Dan Sudick (Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Black Panther”).

Based on the Marvel comic character first appearing in 1968, “Captain Marvel”  continues the lineage of epic big-screen adventures chronicled in “Iron Man,” “The Incredible Hulk,” “Iron Man 2,” “Thor,” “Captain America: The First Avenger,” “Marvel’s The Avengers,” “Iron Man 3,” “Thor: The Dark World,” “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “Guardians of the Galaxy,” “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Ant-Man,”  “Captain America: Civil War,” “Doctor Strange,” “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” “Thor: Ragnarok” and, most recently, “Black Panther.”

With the release of “Black Panther” in February, Marvel Studios continued its unprecedented success. At the time of release, the film recorded the second biggest opening weekend of all time with $202 million and is on track to the become the highest grossing superhero film at the domestic box office. The film has grossed over $1.1 billion worldwide to date. “Black Panther” propelled the Marvel brand’s #1 domestic box-office opening streak to a record-breaking 19 consecutive films.
